Mubarak was really gambling with Egypt

    Mohamed ElBaradei: Egypt will explode
Egypt's main opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei warned of potentially violent riots will happen after President Hosni Mubarak announced on Thursday night he will not resign before the elections of September.

"Mubarak was really gambling with his country," said ElBaradei told CNN.

He repeated the message from Twitter account, "Egypt will explode. Soldiers must save the country now."

Clashes between the people and security forces, he said, would be very devastating.

Previously, the same as protesters mass in Tahrir Seuare, ElBaradei suspect Mubarak will resign, rather than delegate power to Vice President Omar Suleiman.

Thursday afternoon, ElBaradei wrote, "I follow the situation closely. We're almost there .."

But he told CNNbahwa Egypt will not accept this new arrangement. "Suleiman is considered to be an extension of Mubarak. They are twins. None of them received by the people," said ElBaradei. "For the sake of their country, they should resign."

ElBaradei said a leadership council and the interim government should rule the country in North Africa for one year during the transition to a more democratic process.
