America have discovered Mineral Reserve Thousand Worth USD 10 Trillion in Afghanistan

American geologists have discovered mineral deposits worth U.S. $ 1 trillion (about USD 10 thousand trillion) in Afghanistan. Reserves were considered able to change the war torn country into one of the centers of the world's most profitable mining.
Iron, copper, cobalt, gold and industrial metals such as lithium have been found vital in larger quantities than previously thought, according to senior U.S. officials.
A Pentagon memo claiming Afghanistan could become "the Saudi Arabianya lithium", the main raw material in the manufacture of batteries for laptops and mobile phones.
"There is amazing potential here," said Gen. David H. Petraeus, commander of U.S. Central Command.
"There are plenty of reserves is, of course, but I think it is very significant potential."
U.S. Geological Survey has begun aerial surveys of mineral resources in Afghanistan in 2006. They used data collected by Soviet mining experts during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan in the 1980s.
Promising results led to a more advanced study in the next year.
Last year, the Pentagon task force has brought a business development program in Iraq arrived in Afghanistan and analyze the findings of geologists.
U.S. mining experts were brought in to validate the survey's conclusions. U.S. and Afghan officials have been notified.
So far, the largest mineral deposits are found in iron and copper, but also including large deposits Niobium, a soft metal used in producing steel superconductors, as well as elements of the rare-earth elements and a large gold reserves in the Pashtun areas in southern Afghanistan.
